Senior Application Developer – QuickBase

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Application Developer with strong experience designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting QuickBase Rapid Development Applications. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in enterprise application development, system enhancements, troubleshooting, and mentoring development teams while working closely with stakeholders.
This role supports a mission-critical case and program management application, including ongoing upgrades, enhancements, performance optimization, and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, deploy, and enhance applications using the QuickBase Application Platform

Support application troubleshooting, upgrades, and performance improvements

Ensure applications are high-quality, secure, and defect-free, following industry best practices

Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to application and reporting developers

Define and document development standards, processes, and best practices

Collaborate daily with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions

Work with QA/QC teams to ensure application security and stability

Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, ER diagrams, SOPs, and Visio diagrams

Research and recommend new tools, technologies, and enhancements

Monitor application performance and resolve system issues

Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills & Experience

11+ years of hands-on experience with QuickBase Application Development
-
15+ years of enterprise application development using Microsoft technologies in an n-tier architecture

Strong understanding of QuickBase features, functionality, and best practices

Experience with SQL Server, SQL, and database development
-
Proficiency in data modeling and database concepts
-
Experience integrating applications with Microsoft Power BI
-
Strong technical documentation and communication skills

Experience with issue tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or HP ALM
Preferred / Desired Skills

Experience with WCF and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)

Enterprise application development with MS SQL Server and/or Oracle

Strong ETL experience in Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence environments

Experience using ADO.NET

Development experience using Visual Studio 2010+, .NET Framework (2.0–4.6.2), C# or VB.NET

Familiarity with technologies such as Java, XML, HTML, JavaScript, PHP, WebLogic, or BPEL
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
