Job Summary:
The Senior Quality Technician is responsible for inspecting materials and manufactured products to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards. This role supports manufacturing quality assurance processes by performing inspections, documenting results, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to maintain high product quality standards.Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and First Article inspections of procured materials, manufactured products, tooling, and processes according to internal documentation including drawings, specifications, procedures, and workmanship standards.
  • Conduct mechanical and visual inspections to verify compliance with IDEV documentation and regulatory standards.
  • Create and document inspection routines and provide guidance on the proper use of measurement equipment.
  • Maintain documentation including Device History Records (DHRs) and inspection log sheets.
  • Document non-conformances and support yield analysis and quality improvement efforts.
  • Develop solutions to moderately complex quality issues and support corrective action initiatives.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to provide recommendations for quality improvements.
  • Ensure inspection results and documentation meet required accuracy and compliance standards.

Required Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience performing inspection activities and quality verification.

Nice-to-Have Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of inspection experience in a medical device or related regulated industry.
  • Quality certifications such as CMI, CQT, or equivalent.

Required Skills:

  • Mechanical and visual inspection techniques
  • Quality documentation and non-conformance reporting
  • Manufacturing quality assurance processes

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CMM systems
  • Vision inspection systems
  • MicroView or VU measurement systems
  • Manufacturing ERP systems
  • Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency
