This role focuses on working 32 hours per week, from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm, serving a high school student in need of skilled nursing—including tube feeding, related flushes, and blowouts. Desired Qualifications:
- Current Massachusetts LPN/LVN license or active CNA certification
- School-based nursing experience is a plus
- Strong clinical skills, particularly in tube feed management and related procedures
- Compassionate approach to working with high school students
- Ability to work independently, reliably, and professionally
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educational staff and families
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily nursing care with a focus on one high school female student
- Execute tube feedings and ensure all flushes/blowouts are completed safely
- Monitor student health; document observations and interventions per school policies
- Liaise with teachers, school nurses, and families as needed for optimal care
- Uphold confidentiality while following all state and district health regulations
