We are a reputable general contractor with a large portfolio in the healthcare, aerospace, entertainment, luxury retail, housing, and energy markets. We are capable of completing sophisticated and highly technical tenant upgrades within operational buildings as well as large-scale ground-up projects.
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our project management team in executing various construction projects across multiple sectors, including healthcare, retail, energy, and entertainment. The APM will assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing project activities to ensure successful delivery within budget and timeline constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate communication between project stakeholders and team members.
- Support project managers in the planning and execution of various projects.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
- Help manage project documentation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving and decision-making processes.
- Assist in risk assessment and mitigation planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, project management, or a related field.
- 1+ year of experience in project support or a similar role.
- Familiarity with construction, healthcare, or high-end retail, or entertainment industries.
- Knowledge of OSHPD and HCAI regulations related to healthcare projects is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera P6, BIM, etc.)
