Job DescriptionSalary: $18-$28 per hour based on experience

Full-time position - 8:00-5:00, Monday-Friday

This is a hybrid work position in Grand Junction, CO.

Shifts are mostly remote, with some work required onsite at client locations or at the ITS office.

Salary Range: $18 to $28 per hour based on experience

(Position hours can fluctuate and may include some nights/weekends and occasional on-call.)


Summary:

We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide network and workstation support in a managed services environment for multiple clients.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Handle incoming service requests in a manner that builds rapport, establishes trust, and enhances confidence and mutual respect
  • Provide general IT support to a variety of clients, both onsite and remote
  • Assist in the maintenance and management of company information systems including software and hardware troubleshooting
  • Install and upgrade new hardware and software
  • Identify and escalate complex problems under supervision
  • Maintain detailed documentation for all customer interaction and resolution activities
  • Represent ITS to customers by promoting a positive public image that aligns with the ITS core values


Position Requirements:


  • Professional IT certifications such as Microsoft MTA, MCSA; CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA Server+ (preferred)
  • Undergraduate degree in computer-related technologies (preferred)
  • Experience withdesktop and server support
  • Experience with computer hardware repair
  • Customer service experience in a technical support, help desk, or call center environment
  • Familiarity with remote support tools
  • Strong background in Windows client operating systems, standard desktop applications (i.e., Office, Internet Explorer, anti-virus tools), Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory
  • Excellent customer service, organization, and documentation skills
  • Strong multi-tasking ability
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
