As a Coach you should be able to step in on day 1 and work with any client we throw at them. Key Skills Required For Position:


  • CHARACTER. This coach must have world-class character and align with our core values. Here at D1 Training, we work hard and play hard. You must show up every single day ready to have fun with high energy. If you dont bring the juice or are up and down day to day, you wont make it on this high-performance team.
  • COACH. This coach should be able to step in on day 1 & work with anyone. We have classes for 7-11 year olds, 12-14 year olds, 15-18 year olds, & adults. We also offer one-on-one personal training & these athletes can range from 7 years old to adults. You cant have an ego around those you work with & must LOVE coaching everyone.

  • Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes.
  • Maximize client retention through best-in-class service: coaching, training, nutrition, and accountability.
  • Modify and adapt movements that are best suited for the individual at hand.
  • A D1 Coach must be dedicated to training and improving the lives of D1s members; Scholastic (ages 7-18), Adults, and Teams.
  • Exhibiting passion, expertise, high energy, a positive and motivating attitude, strong character, and over-the-top customer service.
  • Starting and finishing workouts on time.
  • Assessing and aligning each member with the proper program.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with each D1 member.
  • Coaching group workouts, personal training, and teams.
  • Teaching proper form and technique and keeping all our athletes safe.
  • D1 Coaches are responsible for delivering our clients the BEST workout experience in the industry. The Coach is the front-line customer experience at D1.
  • Coaches demonstrate a passion for training athletes of all ages, from 7 years old to adult athletes.
  • Coaches are Level 1 Certified in the D1Way and maintain a high level of coaching, adhering to the latest brand standards and quality control measures.
  • D1 Coaches assist in conducting assessments and goal setting during the FTA process, ensuring athletes are prescribed, motivated, and committed to the proper program to reach their goals.
  • Conduct and lead all classes the D1 Way. This requires proper attire, proper music, loud verbal coaching, understanding/enforcing coaching cues, organizing the group sessions, and ensuring the tempo and transition of all the groups.

Help to maintain equipment and cleaning of training spaces. Maintain equipment, cleaning, and organization of all training areas. Participate in marketing events such as competitions, combines, etc.

Qualifications


  • Has a valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Has at least one valid certification accredited by the NCCA, preferably CSCS.
  • Minimum of 3 years of strength & conditioning-related experience in group, team, or personal training.
  • A bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field (preferred).
