Naderpour & Associates is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team in Louisiana. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the legal field. While prior experience is preferred, it is not required—we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong organizational skills, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft pleadings and other legal documents for attorney review
- File pleadings with the appropriate courts after attorney approval
- Track and ensure all case-related costs are properly billed
- Receive, organize, and process incoming mail
- Monitor and follow up on motions, court orders, and hearing dates
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case information in JST (case management system)
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- Legal experience is preferred but not required
