Minimum Qualifications:
- Base knowledge of the importance of strength training.
- Average athletic ability.
- Enjoys working with people and helping them lead healthier lives.
- Accountable, punctual, and friendly.
Preferred Skills
- Currently active in a solid lifting regimen.
- Capable of executing proper strength training technique.
- Solid knowledge about balanced strength training programs.
- Understands muscle failure, balanced routines and rest days.
- Personal Training Certified.
- Experience in personal training.
Job Duties
- Good communication with clients for accessing and setting up training dates.
- Learning and developing safe and balanced programs that suit the client.
- Dependable and punctual for each of a clients sessions.
- Assessing each program for progression and routine changes.
- Keeping records of clients payment/punch cards.

Additional Requirements:
- Must pass a background check.
- All staff must obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 90 days of hire (training provided at YMCA cost).
Flexible hours to fit your schedule and clients when the Y is open 4:30am-9:00pm Monday - Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm Saturday, 10:00am-5:00pm Sunday.
