We're seeking an experienced litigation legal assistant/ secretary to support litigators with Ft. Worth law firm. We offer a competitive base, annual bonuses and raises. Full benefits package (medical, dental & vision), 401k, paid parking, PTO, and training & growth opportunities.
Base pay listed below is an estimated range. Number could go higher for significantly more experience.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
- 3+ years experience working for a law firm -- this is required.
- Live in a commutable distance to downtown Ft. Worth.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong working knowledge of document management systems.
- Prepare and edit legal documents and correspondence; proofread for accuracy and completeness.
Review and proofread legal briefs. - Docket case deadlines.
- File documents in state and federal courts.
- Review, organize, and process client billing in a timely manner.
- Enter attorney time; review and revise timesheets accurately.
- Manage and monitor the calendaring of deadlines and key dates.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings; interact with clients and other contacts.
- Process expense reports/reimbursement requests.
- Oversee office operations, including managing supplies, coordinating administrative processes, and ensuring a well-organized and efficient work environment.
