Position: Maintenance Supervisor
Duration: 6+ Months Contract (Possibility of extension or There would be a potential to become permanent)
Location: City of Industry, CA 91748

Position Description:

• The fundamental role of the Maintenance Lead is to assist the Reliability Leader in the coordination & execution of planned and unplanned maintenance work to ensure on-time completion of PM’s, corrective, & emergency repairs.
• Works with a team of employees and ensures proper standard operating procedures are being carried out and Plant and Team goals are being met.
• Finally, follows all safety procedures as stated in GMP, safety standards, plant rules, and code of ethics.

Preferred candidate qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Mechanic preferred
• Functional knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and plumbing systems.
• Functional knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Demonstrated experience with NFPA70 Electrical Safety, LOTO principles, and practices.
• Working knowledge of break down analysis/root cause analysis tools with preventive and predictive concepts, and lowest cost of ownership.

Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to hot, wet, cold, and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, high temperature equipment, outside weather conditions, working in high precarious locations, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and high noise levels in the work environment.
• The employee is frequently standing on a concrete surface for 12-hour shifts.
