Crimson Aquatics is seeking a dependable and enthusiastic Swim Coach to join our competitive swim club coaching staff. This part-time role is ideal for someone passionate about swimming, athlete development, and creating a positive, team-oriented environment.
Schedule:
- Monday & Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM
- Friday (optional) : 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Brandeis University)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead structured swim practices for age group swimmers
- Provide instruction on stroke technique, starts, turns, and race skills
- Foster a positive, disciplined, and engaging team environment
- Monitor swimmer progress and provide constructive feedback
- Ensure athlete safety and enforce pool rules and team standards
- Collaborate with coaching staff on training plans and season goals
Qualifications:
- Prior swim coaching or competitive swimming experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of stroke mechanics and training fundamentals
- Ability to work with swimmers of varying skill levels
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
