The Weekend Shift Warehouse Fulfillment Team Member accurately picks and packs customer orders for small, lightweight baby products in a clean, modern warehouse environment. This role focuses on reading pick sheets, selecting the correct items, verifying order accuracy, and securely packing products for shipment while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Select items from inventory using pick sheets and follow order details with a high level of accuracy.
  • Handle small, lightweight baby products such as clothing, onesies, bottles, binkies, accessories, and other baby care items with care.
  • Perform order picking and order selection tasks efficiently to meet daily fulfillment goals.
  • Double-check orders to verify item accuracy, quantities, and correct product types before packing.
  • Choose appropriate box sizes for each order and securely pack items to prevent damage during shipping.
  • Seal boxes using tape and prepare packages for shipping and receiving processes.
  • Support general warehouse operations, including basic inventory handling and organization of pick and pack areas.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures and safety guidelines while performing general labor tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse workspace.
  • Adapt to training in both picking and packing functions and rotate between tasks as needed.
  • Leverage any prior retail or customer-focused experience to help ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Essential Skills

  • Previous warehouse or production experience.
  • Demonstrated consistent and reliable work history.
  • Experience with order picking and order selection in a warehouse or similar environment.
  • Ability to perform pick and pack duties with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Capability to handle general labor tasks in a warehouse setting.
  • Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
  • Ability to stand, move, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Strong focus on quality, order accuracy, and meeting productivity expectations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with warehouse inventory processes is beneficial.
  • Background in retail can be helpful for understanding customer-focused order fulfillment.
  • Comfort using basic warehouse tools and materials such as tape dispensers, boxes, and packing supplies.
  • Willingness to learn and be cross-trained in multiple warehouse functions, including both picking and packing.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliability in working weekend shifts and maintaining consistent attendance.

Work Environment

This role is based in a new, modern warehouse facility focused on order fulfillment for small, lightweight baby products. The primary schedule for this position is the Weekend Shift from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Friday through Sunday. The facility also operates a Day Shift (7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday) and a Night Shift (7:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Monday through Thursday), reflecting a structured and stable shift-based environment. Team members work on their feet for most of the shift, moving between picking and packing stations, handling boxes, and working in a fast-paced but organized setting. The environment emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and efficient workflows, with clear procedures for picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipping.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lockbourne, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $19.25/hr.
