Our well-established firm has a reputation for excellence, practicing insurance defense law for over 60 years. We are based in Midtown, close to Bryant Park, and walking distance from Penn Station, Grand Central Station and the Port Authority.
Job Summary
Our boutique insurance defense firm seeks an experienced Paralegal.
Candidates must have knowledge of MS Office, be organized with the ability to multitask, be able to work independently, have attention to detail and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
The responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Assist attorneys with client communication, drafting and revising legal documents including discovery and substantive motions, assist with Appeals, pleadings, and discovery responses and demands, review, chart and organize medical records;
- Proofread work for accuracy
- Enter attorney time and edit bills
- E-file documents
They should be used to a high-volume practice and be a self-motivator.
A cover letter MUST include a salary requirement and details of past law office experience.
Priority consideration will be given to those who:
- Have used legal case management software;
- Have knowledge NYSCEF and Federal court filing;
- Additional preferred (but not required) attributes include someone who is already a Notary Public, and bilingual.

This is a full-time, in office position.
Salary: $50,000 - 60,000/year
