Overview:
Join our team as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer and play a pivotal role in managing and securing our Azure cloud environment. This role focuses on Azure Cloud Infrastructure, cloud security, and the management of key tools like Intune and AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop). You will help lead our migration toward more DevOps-oriented workflows, making this an exciting opportunity to grow in a cutting-edge, evolving cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Azure Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage, optimize, and scale Azure cloud resources to support our organization's growth and technological needs. Ensure high availability, performance, and cost efficiency in the Azure environment.
- Cloud Security: Implement robust security protocols across our Azure infrastructure, including identity management, role-based access, and data protection to ensure compliance with industry standards and security best practices.
- Intune & AVD Management: Administer and optimize Azure Intune for device management, ensuring seamless deployment and security of applications. Oversee Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) configurations, optimizing user access and performance for remote work solutions.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Lead and expand the use of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate and streamline the provisioning, management, and scaling of Azure resources.
- DevOps Migration: In the next 8-12 months, the role will migrate toward more DevOps-oriented tasks, including Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, enhancing the organization's automation, deployment, and monitoring processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, security, and IT to ensure the effective deployment and management of cloud infrastructure.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Azure Cloud Infrastructure, including architecture, deployment, and management of resources.
- Proven expertise in cloud security principles and practices, especially within Azure.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Intune for device and application management.
- Familiarity with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) for optimizing remote desktop experiences.
- Solid understanding and experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e.g., using Terraform, ARM templates).
- Ability to work in a hybrid model, with 3 days in the office per week.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to manage and support automation frameworks, software development lifecycle, and continuous integration/deployment tools.
