Job Description:
Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client for an experienced Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant. This role supports a team of attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and operational support to attorneys and legal staff across various departments
- Coordinate the intake of new cases and maintain professional communication with clients to build strong working relationships
- Prepare, revise, and finalize legal documents with a high level of accuracy
- Draft standard correspondence and assist with basic legal documentation
- Handle expense reporting, reimbursements, and payment requests through an expense management system
- Maintain and organize attorney calendars, including scheduling meetings, deadlines, and court dates
- Assist with additional administrative tasks and special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ Years of experience supporting litigation attorneys in an administrative capacity is required
- Ability to manage shifting priorities and work across multiple assignments with professionalism and efficiency
- Strong organizational and technical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with electronic court filing procedures at both state and federal levels
- Some college coursework preferred
- Experience with legal case management or document management systems is a plus
