Job Summary
Field Project Engineer III is responsible for overseeing and monitoring the design and project management team on behalf of the Business Unit. Experience working at plant Site/Field is preferred. The position will coordinate the discipline engineering (Civil & Structural, Mechanical, Electrical etc.) as well as managing the basic engineering for the project. Develop the conceptual and basic engineering documents including the system layout, equipment arrangements, design criteria, PFD and major equipment specifications. Serve as the primary technical contact with the client on major projects.
Bachelor’s or Master’s of Science in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering or other related discipline required.
- 5+ years of heavy industrial experience in field engineering, project engineering, or construction management required.
- Demonstrated experience in one of the following industries: Oil& gas, chemical plants or liquid terminals.
- Understanding of industrial construction processes, structures, and construction technologies.
- General understanding of all engineering disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience following quality assurance and control procedures.
- Travel Requirements - Initial assignments will be field positions at construction sites throughout North America with periodic stints in an office.
- Physical Demands - Light physical effort required to sit or stand, reach, bend, and move about facility (including ladders and stairs).
