Make a meaningful difference in the lives of children as a dedicated school social worker for the 2026-2027 academic year. Three full-time contract positions are available, serving students in elementary settings and offering vital support to K-4 caseloads, with specific assignments ranging from K-2 to K-12. These roles offer the opportunity to provide social-emotional guidance, resource coordination, and advocacy for students and families, all within a supportive educational community.
Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Social Worker, with credentials suitable for school settings
- Previous experience working with school-age children, ideally in a K-12 or elementary environment
- Strong understanding of social-emotional learning, crisis intervention, and child development
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and community resources effectively
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide social-emotional support and counseling to assigned students
- Conduct assessments and develop strategies tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with staff and families to address barriers to student learning and well-being
- Deliver crisis intervention, preventative programs, and restorative practices as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEPs, and family conferences
- Maintain accurate and confidential records, tracking progress and outcomes
