Constellation Search Group is looking for a Testing Lab Supervisor for a full-time direct hire position. The Testing Lab Supervisor will oversee daily laboratory operations, focusing on product testing, quality assurance, and compliance with industry standards. The role involves leading a team of technicians, managing lab resources, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires onsite work in Irvine, CA, and candidates must have legal authorization to work in the US.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily lab activities, including scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation.
- Ensure all testing procedures comply with internal protocols and external regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, CLIA, CAP).
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate laboratory staff to maintain high performance and compliance.
- Develop and implement quality control and assurance programs.
- Monitor lab safety protocols and ensure adherence to environmental and occupational health standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and quality teams to support product development and troubleshooting.
- Manage inventory of lab supplies and ensure timely procurement.
- Prepare reports and documentation for audits, inspections, and internal reviews.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of lab safety, testing methodologies, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with lab information management systems (LIMS) and data analysis tools.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in a testing or analytical lab, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
