Job DescriptionOvernight Resident Aide - Overnights
LHH is hiring a Resident Aide to work overnight hours at our client in San Pedro, CA. The person in this role will be responsible for daily shelter operations, including ensuring safety and de-escalating situations as needed.

Monday – Thursday, 11PM-8AM & Saturday 7AM-4PM

Location: 100% onsite in San Pedro

Hiring method: Contract to Hire / Temp to Perm

Hourly pay rate: $21/hour
Responsibilities include,
-
Supporting clients in a 100-bed, co-ed interim housing facility
-
Meal distribution, supplying clients with hygiene or related items
-
De-escalating situations as needed
-
Creating and updating incident reports, shift logs, and any other required documents
Qualified candidates will possess,
-
1 year of experience working with the homeless population (field work or interim housing)

Knowledgeable/comfortable with utilizing the harm-reduction model
-
Must have reliable transportation and valid drivers license to meet demands of the position
