SUMMARY:
The Sagent Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, and support of all Sagent platforms (LoanServ, CARE, & Tempo). This position plays a critical role in maintaining system integrity, supporting servicing operations, and driving automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of loan servicing workflows, strong technical skills, and experience analyzing data related to servicing transfers and scripting solutions to streamline processes.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
System Administration & Configuration:
- Manage system settings, security roles, access control, and user provisioning in LoanServ, CARE, & Tempo.
- Monitor system health and performance; address technical issues in a timely manner.
- Configure system parameters to support operational needs.
- Collaborate with servicing teams to define and implement process improvements within the platform.
Data Analysis & Servicing Transfers:
- Analyze and validate large data sets related to loan servicing transfers (both boarding and deboarding).
- Identify and resolve data quality issues during transfers, including investor, escrow, and payment data discrepancies.
- Work with internal stakeholders and external parties to ensure accurate and timely servicing transfer events.
- Generate transfer files, reconciliation reports, and audit support documentation as needed.
Scripting & Automation:
- Develop and maintain custom scripts within LoanServ to automate routine servicing tasks, exception handling, and data clean-up.
- Create batch jobs and automate workflows to reduce manual interventions and enhance servicing accuracy.
- Maintain script documentation and version control in coordination with change management procedures.
Reporting & Integration:
- Build and maintain reports using LoanServ tools and/or external reporting platforms.
- Ensure the integrity and consistency of data between LoanServ and other integrated systems (e.g., Encompass, AnyQueue, Sagent CARE, Sagent Tempo).
- Support regulatory and investor reporting through automated and ad-hoc data extracts.
Support & Collaboration
- Serve as the first point of contact for user support, troubleshooting system and data issues.
- Train internal users on new functionality, scripts, and updates within LoanServ, CARE, & Tempo.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, compliance, servicing, and vendor teams on projects and day-to-day enhancements.
Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience working with Sagent platforms or similar loan servicing system.
- Experience with scripting, automation, and system configuration.
- Strong data analysis skills, especially related to servicing transfers and operational data sets.
- Familiarity with the full lifecycle of loan servicing, including escrow, payment processing, and investor reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with large data files (CSV, TXT, etc.).
Preferred:
- Experience with SQL, XML, APIs, or middleware platforms.
- Prior involvement in servicing transfers or subservicing migrations.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in mortgage servicing.
COMPENSATION: $65,000 Annual Salary
