Key Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado Special Education (SPED) Teacher License
- Experience working with Significant Support Needs (SSN) populations preferred
- Familiarity with state and district requirements for special education
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Enthusiasm for collaboration with educational teams, families, and service providers
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instructional support tailored to the needs of students identified with SSN
- Create engaging, individualized lesson plans aligned with IEP goals
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and other specialists
- Communicate consistently with families regarding student progress and strategies for support
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and district guidelines
