Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

This role is for a warehouse worker in a cold storage environment on a day shift schedule from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. You will support daily operations by accurately packing and picking items, handling materials, and assisting with shipping and receiving activities while operating various warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Pack and pick items accurately and efficiently to meet daily order requirements.
• Perform general labor tasks as needed to support overall warehouse operations.
• Operate an RF scanner to manage inventory and track product movement.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper stacking, storage, and movement.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including preparing orders and verifying incoming shipments.
• Unload deliveries promptly and safely, following established procedures.
• Utilize a pallet jack to move items throughout the warehouse as required.
• Operate sit-down forklifts and high reach forklifts to transport and store products in designated areas.
• Work effectively in a cold storage environment and follow all safety and handling protocols.
• Maintain timeliness and reliability in attendance and shift performance.
• Adapt to schedule needs with flexibility to support operational demands.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience operating sit-down forklifts.
• Proven experience operating high reach forklifts.
• Demonstrated ability to pack and pick items accurately and efficiently.
• Experience performing general labor tasks in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Ability to operate an RF scanner for inventory management.
• Experience with material handling, including safe lifting and movement of products.
• Experience in shipping and receiving processes.
• Ability to safely unload deliveries and handle incoming shipments.
• Experience using a pallet jack to move items.
• Strong timeliness and reliability in attendance.
• Flexibility with work schedule to meet operational needs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with inventory procedures and stock organization.
• Ability to work effectively in a cold storage environment.
• Residence or easy commute from the Patterson area is ideal.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Comfort working with warehouse technology such as RF scanners and related equipment.

Work Environment

The role is based in a cold storage warehouse environment, where temperatures are kept low to preserve products. You will work a day shift from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., using equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, sit-down forklifts, and high reach forklifts. The setting is fast-paced and safety-focused, and you should be prepared to wear appropriate attire suitable for working in cold conditions and around warehouse machinery.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Patterson, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
