Legal Administrative Support Matrimonial Department

We are a vibrant, busy, and growing full-service law firm seeking to expand our talented administrative team by adding aLegal Administrative Support professional to assist our Matrimonial Department.
Successful Candidate
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, and proactive, with excellent communication and multitasking skills. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced legal environment and collaborating closely with attorneys, clients, and colleagues.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing client intakes, including gathering initial information, setting up new matters, and coordinating with attorneys.
- Preparing and sending engagement letters, tracking retainers, and maintaining billing records.
- Assisting with client billing, collections, and payment tracking.
- Maintaining case files, calendars, and departmental workflow to ensure deadlines are met.
- Communicating professionally with clients, court staff, and internal departments.
- Providing general administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling meetings and organizing case documentation.
What You Will Need to Have:
- Experience: 2-5 years
- Prior experience in a legal administrative, billing, or client services role (matrimonial or family law experience preferred).
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with legal billing systems or case management software.
- A professional, team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $55,000 to $65,000 (commensurate with experience)
