About the Role:
The Guest Service Agent at Summit plays a crucial role in ensuring that every guest has a memorable and enjoyable experience during their stay. This position is responsible for managing guest check-ins and check-outs, addressing inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise, all while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. The Guest Service Agent serves as the first point of contact for guests, setting the tone for their visit and ensuring that their needs are met promptly and efficiently. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with various departments to provide seamless service and enhance the overall guest experience. Ultimately, the Guest Service Agent contributes significantly to the reputation of Summit as a premier destination in the hospitality industry.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with hotel management software or property management systems.
- Multilingual abilities to assist a diverse range of guests.
- Certification in hospitality or customer service training.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with the check-in process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests, providing accurate information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Manage the check-out process, including processing payments and addressing any billing inquiries.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure that guest rooms and common areas are clean and well-maintained.
