Key Responsibilities\n

- Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and develop appropriate treatment strategies tailored to their specific needs.
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering resilience and guiding patients through recovery processes.
- Utilize proven therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group therapy sessions.
- Facilitate support groups and educational workshops, empowering patients to articulate their experiences and develop healthy coping mechanisms.
- Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for all clients.
- Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies, assessing risks and coordinating appropriate responses.
- Educate patients and their families about trauma responses as well as resources available to aid in their healing journey.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring continuity of care and adherence to best practices.
- Engage in regular professional development through team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing education about advancements in trauma-informed care.

Qualifications\n

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.
- A minimum of two years of post-licensure mental health counseling experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, exhibiting a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
- Ability to manage high-stress situations with composure and professionalism.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficient in standard computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
