- Full-Spectrum Connectivity: Program and integrate diverse hardware, including Access Control, PLC Controls, security cameras, and water/energy meters.
- Customization: Configure and customize control systems to meet specific project objectives and client requirements while adhering to strict OSC naming and programming standards.
Technical Troubleshooting & Optimization
- Diagnostics: Perform deep-system diagnostics and troubleshoot complex integration conflicts to ensure seamless cross-platform communication.
- Performance Tuning: Proactively recommend and implement enhancements to improve overall system efficiency and data accuracy.
- Field Execution: Utilize industry tools (multimeters, Ethernet testers) and interpret complex control schematics to verify physical-to-digital integrity.
Client & Project Leadership
- Collaboration: Act as the technical lead during client meetings to gather requirements and translate complex BAS concepts into understandable solutions.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive system documentation and provide expert training to both end-users and internal team members.
- Project Management: Manage multiple high-priority integration projects simultaneously, ensuring they remain on schedule and within scope.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Core Expertise: Extensive, proven experience in BMS/BAS-specific programming (Niagara, Distech, Honeywell, and JCI is required).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant programming languages and software tools; ability to read and interpret advanced control schematics.
- Soft Skills: Strong critical-thinking abilities, professional writing skills, and a customer-centric approach.
- Safety & Standards: In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safety-first mindset.
