Key Qualifications:

  • Current Georgia Special Education (SPED) licensure/certification required (confirmation must be provided with your application via the official state certification lookup tool).
  • Prior experience in school-based SPED placements strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver tailored lessons for students with ASD.
  • Skilled in fostering effective collaboration alongside general education staff.
  • Excellent classroom management and clear, detailed documentation skills.
  • Availability to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, throughout the academic year.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction and support to students with ASD based on individual needs and IEPs.
  • Implement, monitor, and document progress toward IEP goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student growth and success.
  • Maintain well-organized records and contribute to case management as needed.
  • Foster an inclusive, structured, and positive learning environment.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and school activities.
