Twin City Staffing is seeking a PowerApps and Power BI Developer for a 4–5 month contract with one of our long-standing clients. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on connecting systems, building user-friendly apps, and delivering actionable insights through data.
Location: Saint Paul, MN
Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday
Wage: $45 – $55/hr.

Key responsibilities of the PowerApps and Power BI Developer:
- Enhance existing PowerApps (Canvas Apps) to support key operational workflows
- Design and deploy advanced Power BI dashboards linked to SQL Server and SharePoint data sources
- Build and manage SQL Server views, stored procedures, and queries (on-premises and in Azure)
- Automate business processes using Power Automate and cloud connectors
- Integrate with third-party applications such as Salesforce via APIs
- Translate business requirements into scalable, user-friendly applications
- Document technical work and provide clear handoffs to internal teams
Skills & experience of the PowerApps and Power BI Developer:
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform
- Strong knowledge of PowerApps (Canvas Apps) and Power BI — both required
- Advanced SQL Server skills, including data modeling and performance optimization
- Experience with Power BI deployment features (row-level security, workspace setup, data refreshes)
- Experience integrating data from multiple sources: SQL, SharePoint, Office 365, REST APIs
- Familiarity with Azure services, Power Automate, and workflow automation
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
