Job Description:
NDi seeks a Federal IT Asset Management Specialist with a minimum of 5 years of experience or equivalent education in supporting asset management within an IT environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing asset management support, to include tracking and maintaining assets, conducting inventories, ensuring accountability of assets and related customer support functions.
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Must possess an active TS clearance at the time of application, be willing and able to obtain SCI access, and pass a CI polygraph.
- This position is onsite 5/days a week in Washington D.C.
Qualifications and Experience:
- AS Degree (or higher) in logistics, IT or a related field, OR 2 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Asset Management, IT Asset Management or a related field
- Experience managing and maintaining IT assets related to network and telephony infrastructure, including routers, switches, PBXs, and VoIP devices, with a focus on accurate inventory tracking and lifecycle management.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with IT and telecom teams to ensure asset documentation accurately reflects system configurations, technical requirements, and operational needs.
- Proficient in conducting detailed technical research and analysis, supporting data-driven decisions in asset lifecycle planning and procurement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, draft documentation, and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with interpreting and applying management policies, federal regulations, and agency-level directives as they relate to IT asset management.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage concurrent tasks and deadlines with attention to detail and accountability
- Experience in Microsoft Suite and SharePoint is a plus
