Job DescriptionA Quality Manager job in Greensboro, NC is available courtesy of LHH Recruitment Solutions! Our client is an established manufacturing company in need of a skilled Quality Manager who can be hands on with domestic customers and the internal quality team. This job is direct hire, fully onsite in Greensboro.

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for ensuring that customer requirements and quality standards are fully understood and implemented throughout the organization. The role includes management responsibility for the Quality System and serves as the primary advocate for customer needs. The Quality Assurance Department reports directly to this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow all general safety regulations and use provided safety equipment as required. Refer to job-specific safety instructions for details.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements and established quality policies.
  • Maintain working knowledge of SPC, Root Cause Analysis, 8D, and PPAP methodologies.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce process variation and improve product performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to resolve product performance issues.
  • Develop and apply statistical methods as needed.
  • Provide leadership in implementing quality procedures and processes to meet ISO 9000 or TS 16949 standards.
  • Supervise quality activities and personnel.
  • Coach and mentor staff to drive continuous improvement through variation reduction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by plant leadership.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Applied Statistics or Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of process experience in an automotive manufacturing environment at a managerial level.
  • LEAN manufacturing experience is required.

This position is compensated with a salary and company bonus potential, along with a healthy benefits package that includes med/dent/vis healthcare, a 401K match, and PTO. Relocation assistance would be provided to offset the cost of moving for ideal candidates who reside outside of a commutable distance to the plant.

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
