The HVAC Technician plays a vital role in maintaining and servicing residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across multiple sites. Working as part of a team, the technician ensures efficient operation and safety compliance of central air conditioning units, heat pumps, furnaces, and refrigeration systems. This position demands technical expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and effective customer communication.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair on HVAC systems, including central air conditioning, heat pumps, furnaces, and refrigeration units
- Troubleshoot system issues to diagnose faults and implement effective solutions
- Conduct system testing to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Adhere to safety protocols while working at multiple residential sites
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication regarding system status and repair needs
- Maintain accurate documentation of service and repairs performed
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate service tasks and share expertise
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC systems maintenance and repair
- Technical diploma or certification in HVAC or related field
- Skilled in preventive maintenance and effective troubleshooting
- Strong customer communication and time management abilities
- Knowledge of and adherence to safety protocols
