- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and smoothing the surface.
- Mask and tape off areas that should not be painted.
- Select and mix paint colors to match original colors or to create custom colors.
- Apply coats of primer, paint, and clear coat to vehicles, ensuring the paint is even and free of runs or sags.
- Inspect painted surfaces for imperfections and make necessary touch-ups or corrections.
- Work with other members of the auto body repair team to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Keep work area clean and organized, and maintain equipment in good working order.
