Essential Duties
- Routine & Preventive Maintenance: Inspect, lubricate, replace filters, and perform scheduled maintenance on motors, belts, drives, and other components.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and fix electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues; replace defective parts; reassemble and adjust equipment.
- Emergency Repairs: Respond quickly to urgent production equipment failures.
- Installation & Adjustments: Install or dismantle machines, set up control systems (e.g., PLCs), and calibrate equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, maintain a clean work area, and report unsafe conditions.
- Collaboration: Work with operators, supervisors, and other maintenance staff to resolve issues and improve efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives to enhance uptime and productivity.
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 2+ years industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude; knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, meters, and material handling equipment.
- Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and in high-heat, high-noise environments.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40–50 pounds, work long hours on your feet, and operate in high-temperature environments.
- Exposure to PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, FR clothing) due to heat, noise, and particulate matter.
