Overview:
This position directly supports the Project Management Office (PMO) on BGS’ Scientific, Engineering, Technical, Support (SETS) contract that provides technical services to the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE). The position supports the PMO Director and will assist him in creating and maintaining the Excel workbooks that are used to manage approximately 350 employees and 40 Blanket Purchase Agreements Orders that range in value from $250K to $13M.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 5+ years of post-graduate Excel experience in a professional occupation.
- 5 or more years of expertise operating Microsoft Excel in a professional organization having in-depth knowledge of datasets, formulas, and Pivot Table functions.
- Experience with Visual Basic Analysis (VBA).
- Expert data analysis and report development skills using Excel, MS Access, VBA, and/or Python is a plus.
- Very strong Microsoft computer skills (i.e., Windows 11, Office 365, SharePoint, and Teams).
- Ability to synthesize data and generate operational outputs (e.g., invoices, purchase orders, performance graphs, etc.)
- Attention to detail.
- Self-starter, and ability to work both independently and as part of a highly dynamic team.
- Ability to balance a high workload with tangible deadlines.
- Other duties as assigned.

Starting compensation for this role typically salary ranges between $75,000 and $95,000 annually is commensurate with experience relative to the position and may vary based on candidate geographical location.
