InSync Consulting is seeking a qualified and dependable Phlebotomist/Laboratory Technician to support an acute care hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience with specimen collection and laboratory procedures in a hospital or clinical setting.
Job Duties:
- Perform venipuncture and blood specimen collection from patients.
- Properly label, process, and transport specimens for laboratory testing.
- Follow established protocols for specimen handling and infection control.
- Maintain accurate patient records and laboratory documentation.
- Work collaboratively with nursing staff and laboratory personnel.
- Provide professional and compassionate patient care.
Requirements:
- Current BLS certification.
- Current Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Position Details:
- Pay: $25–$27/hour
- Schedule: Friday – Sunday
- Shift: Night Shift
- Hours: 4:30 PM – 4:30 AM
- Schedule Type: 3×12-hour shifts (36 hours per week)
- Setting: Acute Care Hospital
