Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or strong CFY candidates considered
State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Alabama
Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Your Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students’ speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities
Develop and implement engaging, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ educational and functional goals
Document student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and state guidelines
Provide direct therapy and participate in IEP meetings as an active team member
Contribute to a positive, inclusive educational environment that encourages student growth
