Senior Data Architect - Common Data Model & Metadata Platforms

Job Description

City: Must reside in PST Time zone in the US (Will consider MST for the right candidate)

Onsite/ Hybrid/ Remote: Remote

Duration: 12 Months

Rate Range: Max is $110 in C2C or $100 in W2

Work Authorization: USC or GC Only

Must Have:

• Common Data Model and Metamodel development
• Data integration and data standards (NIEM preferred)
• Python, Java, TCL
• RDF and SPARQL
• Data formats: XML, JSON, HL7, FRL, VRL, HRL
• Metadata management and data dictionary design
• CI/CD pipelines and deployment

Responsibilities:

• Lead current state assessment of metadata systems and identify gaps
• Design and build common metamodel and enterprise data model
• Develop and enhance metadata utility platform
• Integrate multiple data formats and systems into unified model
• Create data dictionary and standardized data definitions
• Drive future state architecture and enhancements
• Support testing, validation, and production deployment
• Manage CI/CD setup and system environments
• Conduct knowledge transfer and documentation
• Coordinate with program manager and stakeholders on priorities and delivery

Qualifications:

• 3+ years building common metamodels across systems
• 3+ years in data modeling, integration specs, and governance
• 2+ years with Python, Java, or TCL
• 2+ years with RDF and SPARQL
• Strong experience with structured and semi-structured data formats
• Experience delivering enterprise data platforms end to end
• Background in large-scale data integration projects

Nice to Have:

• NIEM standards experience
• Metadata tools or message broker systems
• Experience with Cloverleaf or similar integration platforms
