Ring Hand (Event Sales Associate / Retail Associate)
Seasonal / Per-Diem | Seattle Area | $125 per Market + 10% Profit
The Ring Room is hiring Ring Hands to support our vintage jewelry sales at pop-up markets, festivals, and special events across the Seattle area and beyond.
This is a customer-facing retail and event sales position ideal for individuals with strong people skills, a passion for aesthetics, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments. If you have experience in retail, customer service, or event sales—and enjoy helping people feel confident and celebrated—we’d love to hear from you.
Job Responsibilities

Represent The Ring Room at markets, pop-ups, and regional events

Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers with ring selection

Process sales using Square POS

Support upselling and sales conversations

Assist with booth setup, breakdown, and transporting displays
-
Maintain clean, organized, visually appealing merchandise displays
-
Manage inventory flow during events

Troubleshoot onsite issues with professionalism

Work independently while collaborating with team members
-
Optional participation in multi-day festivals (housing + food allowance provided)
Note: Jewelry cleaning/polishing is not part of this role.
Schedule & Availability

Weekends required

Evening events available

Flexible scheduling – you may accept or decline offered shifts

Typical availability: 1–3 markets per week

Pay & Compensation

$125 per market + 10% of profit

Paid training at $20.00/hr

Housing + food allowance for select multi-day events
Qualifications (Preferred)

Retail, customer service, or sales experience
-
Familiarity with Square POS
-
Strong communication and people skills
-
Upselling or negotiation experience (bonus)

Reliable, punctual, and professional
-
Comfortable working in fast-paced environments
Job Requirements

Reliable transportation (non-negotiable)

Valid driver’s license
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Comfortable working outdoors in various weather

Willing to sign NDA and Non-Compete Agreement

Background check required

Dress code: well-groomed, ability to "turn a look" or "put it on". Casual style or fancy dress.
