Position Summary:
Warehouse Operations Associate, that speaks SPANISH & ENGLISH fluently, who is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure accuracy, safety, and efficiency in all material handling activities. This position provides direct supervision to warehouse staff, supports management with operational goals, and promotes a productive and safe work environment. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), has at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead warehouse associates in daily activities such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management.
- Assign and monitor workloads to meet productivity, quality, and safety standards.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness throughout the warehouse in accordance with OSHA and company guidelines.
- Conduct inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Train and mentor new employees on warehouse procedures, safety, and equipment operation.
- Communicate effectively with management and other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve issues.
- Monitor team performance and provide feedback to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Support weekend operations and work overtime as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or lead experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiar with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications (Excel, Word, email).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
- Weekend availability required.
