Job Description Deburr Technician HireCall is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Deburr Technician for a valued manufacturing client in Tulsa, OK. This position is responsible for finishing metal parts, removing sharp edges and imperfections, and ensuring products meet quality standards. Job Responsibilities
- Deburr, grind, sand, and finish metal parts produced through laser cutting, forming, and welding.
- Operate hand grinders, belt sanders, deburring machines, vibratory tumblers, and other metal finishing equipment.
- Inspect parts for burrs, sharp edges, slag, scratches, and other defects.
- Follow work instructions, drawings, and quality requirements.
- Meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
- Safely handle and move sheet metal parts of various sizes and weights.
- Maintain clean equipment and an organized work area.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with other fabrication and production duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, sheet metal fabrication, or metal finishing experience preferred.
- Experience using grinders, sanding equipment, tumblers, or other deburring tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with laser-cut metal parts and fabrication processes preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic measuring and inspection skills.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
