Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed pharmacist is needed to provide maternity leave coverage at an independent, family-owned retail pharmacy using PioneerRx. This role offers a traditional pharmacy environment with a focus on patient care and community engagement.
Location:
- Phillips, Wisconsin
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays required
- Pharmacists working Saturdays receive an additional day off during that week
- Pharmacy closed on Thanksgiving Day
- Training days may be available before the assignment start date
Responsibilities:
- Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Provide patient counseling and medication guidance
- Administer immunizations/vaccines as needed
- Oversee pharmacy workflow while collaborating with two pharmacy technicians
- Adapt to scheduling needs depending on relief pharmacist availability
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active pharmacist license in the relevant state
- Experience with retail pharmacy operations, preferably independent pharmacy setting
- Proficiency with PioneerRx pharmacy system or similar software
- Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach
- Comfortable working in a primarily solo pharmacist environment with technician support
