We are seeking an experienced Paralegal with a strong background in personal injury plaintiff work and hands-on experience with Filevine and Lead Docket. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, operates with a high level of autonomy, and excels at bringing clarity and structure to evolving processes. You will work directly with one or more attorneys from intake through verdict, serving as a critical partner in managing and moving cases efficiently through every phase.
Compensation:
$65,000 - $85,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all phases of litigation, from intake to verdict, ensuring each case progresses smoothly and efficiently.
- Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, with precision and attention to detail.
- Conduct thorough legal research and gather relevant case information to support attorneys in building strong cases.
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and experts, fostering trust and clarity throughout the legal process.
- Maintain and organize case files using Filevine and Lead Docket, ensuring all information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions, ensuring all materials are ready and organized.
- Monitor and manage deadlines, keeping the legal team informed and on track to meet all critical dates and requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience in managing personal injury cases from intake to resolution, ensuring each phase is handled with precision.
- Proven track record of drafting and organizing legal documents, including medical chronologies and settlement agreements, with attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain and update case information using Filevine and Lead Docket, ensuring all deadlines are met and tasks are tracked.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with clients, medical providers, and insurance adjusters for timely case updates.
- Experience in scheduling and managing EBTs, IMEs, mediations, and court appearances, ensuring thorough preparation for all parties involved.
- Proficiency in utilizing AI tools and legal technology to streamline documentation and research processes, enhancing workflow efficiency.
- Ability to identify process gaps and implement solutions to improve operational flow and case velocity, contributing to firm success.
