About the Role:
The Engineering Department Head will lead and oversee all engineering functions within the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational excellence. Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration with a technical focus, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in engineering roles, including 3+ years in a leadership or management position.
- Proven experience managing engineering teams and complex projects within a business services environment.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, project management methodologies, and quality assurance processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Engineering Management, Business Administration (MBA), or a related discipline.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with the latest engineering software tools and technologies relevant to the business services industry.
- Prior experience working in or managing remote or multi-location teams.
- Professional engineering license (PE) or relevant certifications.
Responsibilities:

- Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and specifications are met.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practices in engineering processes and technologies.
- Manage departmental budgets, resource planning, and recruitment to build a high-performing engineering team.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
