Job Description

As a Security Officer - Bilingual Spanish Patrol Driver in Lynwood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will use a company-approved vehicle as part of your patrol. You will also support tenants and visitors with professional communication, backed by Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access control concerns.
  • Monitor assigned areas for unusual conditions, unauthorized persons, and/or policy violations, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Control access as assigned by verifying credentials, directing visitors to appropriate locations, and assisting with after-hours entry procedures per site guidelines.
  • Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift activity logs, and communicate observations and/or concerns promptly to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
