The City of O'Fallon is looking for an energetic and caring team member for the position of Kids Korner/Stay n Play Attendant. This position plays an important role in providing childcare services for patrons of the city gym. Our Kids Korner Attendants enjoy a fun work environment, with plenty of variety in their workdays. The expected starting hourly rate for this position is $15.25. We're looking for someone who has the desire to provide a fun and safe experience for kids and possesses strong oral and written communication skills.
As a Kids Korner Attendant, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and ensuring the safety of children in Kids Korner
- Answering questions from and providing information to parents
- Cleaning and stocking toys, equipment and supplies
- Maintaining accurate attendance records
- Administers first aid as needed
- Attending mandatory quarterly staff meetings
Applicants must:
- Possess knowledge of childcare principles and practices
- Be skilled in the management and care of children
- Be able to work nights, weekends, holidays or other irregular hours, as required
- Knowledge of first-aid and CPR
