Job Description:
Our recruiting firm is working with a respected independent grocery store group with decades of successful growth in Wisconsin. They are looking for a talented Store Manager to lead daily operations within the department. This role is responsible for driving department performance, developing team members, and delivering exceptional customer service to their guests.
Responsibilities:
- Lead day to day operations of the department including merchandising, inventory, staffing, and guest service
- Supervise, train, and develop team members to maintain performance standards.
- Ensure produce quality, freshness, and presentation
- Manage ordering, inventory levels, and shrink control to support profitability
- Maintain department cleanliness, food safety, and regulatory compliance standards
- Collaborate with store leadership to execute promotions and sales initiatives
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and ensure a positive shopping experience
- Monitor department performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
Qualifications:
- The right candidate will bring a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in retail grocery or food service
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for service
- Strong understanding of performance metrics
- Food safety knowledge
