As a Front Desk Medical Office Assistant at iHEAL, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and ensuring a welcoming environment for our patients. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and patients, handling questions, scheduling appointments, and assisting with various office tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
• Manage phone calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate staff members.
• Schedule appointments, maintain calendars, and manage patient records accurately and confidentially.
• Verify insurance information, collect co-payments, and assist with billing inquiries.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and waiting room.
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and handling office supplies inventory.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
• Empathy and understanding when interacting with clients dealing with mental health concerns.

Education and Certification:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Additional certification in medical office administration or related field is a plus.
