Position Summary
The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for providing outstanding customer service, operating the cash register, stocking merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, and assisting customers with product selections. Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate POS system and accurately handle cash, credit card, and digital transactions
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor
- Verify customer age and ensure compliance with all alcohol sales regulations
- Assist customers with wine, beer, and spirits recommendations
- Receive and organize deliveries
- Follow opening and closing procedures
