Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Civil Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will represent clients in civil litigation matters, focusing on subrogation cases. This role involves providing expert legal counsel, developing case strategies, and advocating for clients in court and settlement negotiations.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in civil litigation cases with a focus on subrogation matters.
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Develop case strategies and prepare for trials, hearings, and depositions.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to reach favorable outcomes.
- Attend court hearings and represent clients in front of judges and juries.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide legal advice accordingly.
- Manage case loads effectively while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work.
Qualifications
- CA Bar admittance.
- JD degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil litigation, particularly in subrogation cases.
- Strong knowledge of civil litigation processes and strategies.
- Excellent negotiation, research, and writing skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
