The Anodizing Lead plays a critical role in overseeing the second-shift production employees within the Anodize Department. This leadership position focuses on achieving production goals while upholding high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. The Lead is responsible for training, coaching, and supporting team members, and acts as the primary resource for process-related inquiries and performance feedback.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of 7 to meet daily production output.
- Train and support new hires and existing team members.
- Ensure production goals are achieved while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Serve as the go-to resource for process-related questions and performance feedback.
- Engage in hands-on tasks such as racking/hanging parts, which involves pinching metal parts together.
- Lift parts weighing 5-20 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Essential Skills
- 7+ years of stable work history, preferably in manufacturing.
- 1+ years of experience in leading or supervising a team.
- Good hand strength and dexterity.
- Ability to read and write English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in chemical handling, racking, machine operation, and metal finishing.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and assembly line processes.
- Understanding of temperatures, plating, coating, and metalworking.

Work Environment
The role involves working on an Anodizing Line, requiring standing throughout the day. The facility is air-conditioned and spacious, which can be overwhelming on the first day. Though the environment can be somewhat dark and dirty, it is typical for a manufacturing setting. The building has excellent ventilation to eliminate chemical odors. The initial training is conducted on the 1st shift from 6:30am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday, before transitioning to the 2nd shift from 3:00pm to 1:30am, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BLAINE, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
